A recent piece, ‘Last Light’ has been selected for the 2024 edition of The Walker & Hall Art Awards. This painting continues on from earlier explorations into themes of life and loss featuring native New Zealand plant species and, in particular, the ongoing vulnerabilities that even our mighty Kauri are prone to.

As with previous work, the frame has been personally handcrafted from reclaimed Kauri, with a local (Waiheke Island) provenance.
